Our service to photographers offers a range of stocks and inks from Lyson designed specifically for photographic giclee printing. The superb range of archival quality photographic media from Lyson feature special coatings to provide the maximum color quality from Lyson PhotoChrome inks that maximise the fade resistance of the image. The 7 colour PhotoChrome inkset features an improved overall colour gamut compared to the Epson UltraChrome inks and a higher density black. The media coatings used are designed to stop catalytic and dark fading that are prevalent in many ink/media combinations or photographic processes, extending the longevity of the print beyond 75 years. The Lyson media range is suitable for both Black and White and Colour photographic printing. Below you will find information and pricing for our standard range of photographic printing stocks. Lyson Pro Matt Paper - 180gsm Brilliant white photographic Matt paper that enables amazing image vibrancy and tonal range in Black and White and Color. The paper is pulp based with a ink jet ink receiving coating.

Lyson Darkroom Pearl Media - 250 gsm Classic heavyweight lustre finish for lightfast colour and monochrome images. Lyson Darkroom Pearl paper is certainly one of the inkjet papers closest to a real darkroom pearl finish that we have seen. Ideal for wedding and social photographers, it produces a print with a smooth sheen and no bronzing, which also feels like a true darkroom wet print.

Colour
Proofs
When a specific colour match is required prior to printing
we offer a proofing service to exactly replicate how the finished
print will look. We will print
your image at A4 size, on the correct stock, before sending the proof to
you for approval. The cost of this service is £15 +VAT.
If 10 prints or more of the same image are ordered, we will
include the proof free of charge.
Printing without a colour
proof cannot guarantee colour accuracy.
Print
Guard
Print Guard spray renders the print more water resistant
and can also increase light resistance. Print
Guard is a clear lacquer that greatly increases UV resistance
to fading, reduces the possibility of damage to the image,
reduces possible colour shift over time and provides a splash
proof water resistance coat.
Cost: A4-£2.50, A3-£4, A2-£6, A0-£8.
Archiving
All digital files are archived free of charge for reprinting
unless you instruct us to delete them.
Drum
Scanning
If you are unable
to supply digital files,
we can drum scan your transparencies
or flexible originals at the
following
rates.
Cost: 25mb-£30, 50mb-£40, 75mb-£50.
Delivery
All
prints are shipped in sturdy cardboard tubes. Delivery
is charged
at cost with small orders £5
special delivery.
